London Assembly plenary session January 2021
At the London Assembly plenary session last week, we heard a very moving story about an NHS nurse; one of so many healthcare staff at the frontline of fighting Covid. We owe everyone working for the NHS a huge debt of gratitude. And we know this is all happening after ten years of neglect by this Government. Staff are doing a phenomenonal job despite being under resourced - but it is vital that the Government does the right thing and provides proper resources and funding for the NHS.
